20 Personal ThingsAbout Helen and her familyThe following information is certainly "supplementary" - similar to the information you may receive once a year as a letter enclosed in Christmas card.. Read on if you'd like an inside peak into who the Terry family are. HelenMy Mum and Dad still live in Brentwood, Essex, England, in the house and the town, where I grew up. My older sister, Sue, married with 3 children, lives in Seville, Spain. My younger brother, Mike, married with 2 children, lives in Barcelona, Spain. I love to go for walks especially when it is cool and a little breezy with sunshine. I enjoy taking Phelps with me (he is a young border collie mix). In 2004 I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and hypothyroidism. I'm delighted that I now have bounding energy from a combination of nutritional foods (following Body Ecology Diet), love of Movement through Nia and 5 stages of self healing. I'm also helped by the restoration of family balance from my husband Joe choosing to leave his J O B and become "Mista Mum". Nutritional Foods I LOVE I absolutley LOVE LOVE LOVE Vitamineral Green, Maca Root and following the Body Ecology Diet (www.bodyecologydiet.com). I use coconut products from Tropical Traditions and sell them at my home studio/shop - like every thing I sell, I fall in love with a product, use it myself, share it with friends, then get encouraged to stock it!!. "I'm working on being less busy in 2007"
Other things I like to do (that I'll do more of once I've accomplished the above!) include: Sew, motorbikes (I'll buy one again some day!), movies, live concerts, beeches, read in bed with my daughter, running just for fun, music (any kind, especially LOUD!), hang and laugh with friends. I LOVE my church, Fellowship of the Woodlands, a non denominational church that focuses on a relationship with Christ ratherthan religion (www.fotw.org). FOTW is one of the fastest growing churches in the US, they make church FUN. "I'm working on being less busy in 2008" That's right! 2008 was a wonderful transition year. Becoming a Blue Belt Nia teacher put some extra pressures on time management that demanded I get more efficient and effective. I felt more busy than ever before but it was beginning to be less consuming. By the end of the year I finally achieved some of my long term goals. YES! I am less busy and more happy :-) every day choosing what best contributes to this goal. Favorite Foods
JoeJoe built houses in Corpus Christi before he began working at a Tex Mex Restaurant, called Cafe Adobe, when moved to Houston in 1986. He worked his way up from Barman to General Manager then finally took the bold step to walk away from this career in October 2004. Joe is now enjoying the opportunity to be more active at home. At Liliana's school Joe is the volunteer art teacher, recycler assistant and classroom photographer. In Helen's Nia business Joe is accountant, personal assistant, nanny and big time support! Joe is also developing the mBT business especially with regards offering the shoes at trade shows. Joe LOVES, and is maticulous about, taking care of the house, yard and pool. He is also an excellent handiman (useful attribute for a small business) and artist. Favorite Foods:
